DISCUSSION...A VERY MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS HAS STAYED INTACT
OVER NORTHERN NEW MEXICO AND AWAITS THE ARRIVAL OF A COLD FRONT THIS
AFTERNOON. NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AS THE
FRONT APPROACHES THE SOUTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS AND THE
BURN AREA WITH HIGH POTENTIAL FOR WETTING RAINFALL AND LOCALLY HEAVY
AMOUNTS. STORMS WILL TEND TO DRIFT VERY SLOWLY AND ERRATICALLY.
HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THE UPPER 60S...A BIT BELOW NORMAL...
AND HUMIDITY WILL BE ELEVATED...ONLY DROPPING TO ABOUT 60 PERCENT.
WINDS WILL BE SHIFTING TO THE NORTHEAST THROUGH THE LATE MORNING
AND EARLY AFTERNOON. STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN ONGOING OVERNIGHT
WITH EXCELLENT HUMIDITY RECOVERY TO NEAR 100 PERCENT. THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE LIKELY AGAIN ON TUESDAY.
