.DISCUSSION...
Warm and dry conditions will remain over southeast Oregon through
Thursday afternoon. Southwesterly winds will be on the increase,
however, as a Pacific cold front gradually approaches from the
northwest. The frontal passage will occur between midnight and 6
am PDT Friday morning near the fire area. Rain is expected behind
the front late Thursday night through Friday morning. Intermittent
rain and snow showers will follow Friday afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will be much cooler on Friday along with gusty west
winds. A warm front will be accompanied by a chance of rain and
snow on Saturday. Drier milder conditions will follow the warm
front on Sunday, along with gusty southwest winds.
