THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF DEEP SOUTH
TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS EXPECTED ALONG AREA BEACHES OF THE
LOWER TEXAS COAST.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS DEEP SOUTH TEXAS
THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. ONE OR TWO STORMS COULD BE STRONG TO
SEVERE PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL
MAINLY OVER ZAPATA...BROOKS...JIM HOGG AND STARR COUNTIES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

AN ELEVATED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS IS EXPECTED FRIDAY THROUGH
MONDAY.

HEAT INDEX READINGS OF 105 TO 109 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED EACH
AFTERNOON FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH
WEDNESDAY. ISOLATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL...HAIL...AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
STRIKES ON FRIDAY. NUISANCE FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED WITH HEAVY
RAINFALL ESPECIALLY IN POOR DRAINAGE LOCATIONS.

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES OVER THE LAGUNA FOR STRONG WINDS ARE
POSTED UNTIL 10 PM. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES FOR STRONG WIND AND
HAZARDOUS SEAS ARE IN EFFECT THROUGH THE NIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR THE OFFSHORE WATERS
FRIDAY. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES FOR WINDS ARE LIKELY TO BE
REISSUED FOR THE LAGUNA MADRE LATE MORNING AND AFTERNOON FRIDAY.
