This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Southeast Texas..

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heat index values may reach the low 100s this afternoon.
Southeast Texans should drink plenty of water and take frequent
breaks if participating in outdoor activities.

Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening along a cold
front. Some may be strong to severe north of a Columbus to
Cleveland line and capable of damaging winds, large hail, and
locally heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will be possible
Monday through Saturday. This activity may be capable of producing
locally heavy rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Limited spotter activation may be needed this afternoon through
tonight.

Moderate onshore flow may result in an elevated rip current risk
on Gulf-facing beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will be possible
Monday through Thursday. Some of these may be capable of producing
locally higher winds and waves.
