THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST-CENTRAL
ARIZONA...EXTREME SOUTHWEST ARIZONA...EXTREME WEST-CENTRAL
ARIZONA...SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA...SOUTHWEST ARIZONA...WEST-CENTRAL
ARIZONA...EXTREME SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA AND SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL RAPIDLY INCREASE ON TUESDAY AS TROPICAL
MOISTURE SURGES NORTHWARD AND INTO THE REGION AHEAD OF HURRICANE
ODILE...MOVING TOWARDS THE NORTHWEST JUST OFF THE COAST OF BAJA
CALIFORNIA. THERE WILL BE A GOOD CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
AREA WIDE BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...CONTINUING INTO THE DAY ON
THURSDAY. THE PRIMARY WEATHER HAZARD WILL BE HEAVY RAIN WHICH WILL
LEAD TO AT LEAST LOCALIZED FLOODING OF WASHES...STREAMS...ROADS AND
LOW LYING AREAS. ADDITIONALLY...THE STRONGER STORMS HAVE THE
POTENTIAL TO GENERATE GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH AS WELL
AS DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

MOISTURE WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE FROM THURSDAY NIGHT INTO THE WEEKEND
ALTHOUGH CHANCES FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST
ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA THROUGH AT LEAST FRIDAY.
