AT 117 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM...
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS
LOCATED NEAR THE COASTAL WATERS WEST OF BLOCK ISLAND...MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 25 KNOTS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
BLOCK ISLAND SOUND...THE COASTAL WATERS WEST OF BLOCK ISLAND AND
POINT JUDITH LIGHT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXPECT WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...BRIEFLY ROUGH SEAS...AND
LIGHTNING STRIKES. CONSIDER HEADING FOR SAFE HARBOR OR REMAINING
BELOW DECK UNTIL THIS STORM PASSES.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING WAS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. HEAD TO SAFE
