TODAY...

BOATERS SHOULD REMAIN AWARE OF THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS ON THE SOUTH COASTAL WATERS TODAY...ESPECIALLY ON
THE OPEN WATERS SOUTH OF THE ISLANDS AND EAST OF NANTUCKET.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS OF UP TO 50
KNOTS AND WATERSPOUTS...IN ADDITION TO FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND
ROUGH SEAS. THE MOST LIKELY TIME IS BETWEEN 1 PM AND 6 PM.

IF YOUR BOATING PLANS INCLUDE THE WATERS SOUTH OF NEW ENGLAND
TODAY...BE PREPARED TO HEAD TO SAFE HARBOR IF THREATENING WEATHER
APPROACHES.
