...A LARGE SOUTH SWELL WILL ARRIVE SUNDAY...

STRONG LOW PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE IS GENERATING A
LONG PERIOD SOUTH SWELL...WHICH IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE ISLANDS
ON SUNDAY AND CONTINUE INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE SWELL WILL BRING
THE POTENTIAL FOR SURGES OVER SOUTH FACING HARBORS...AND MAY LEAD
TO WAVES BREAKING IN AND NEAR HARBOR ENTRANCES...ESPECIALLY SUNDAY
AND MONDAY. LOCALLY STRONG CURRENTS ARE ALSO ANTICIPATED...INCLUDING
CHANNEL ENTRANCES.

BOATERS SHOULD BE ALERT TO LARGER THAN NORMAL SURF ALONG SOUTH
SHORES THIS WEEKEND...AND TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS.
