  LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN AND LAKE MAUREPAS...

AT 105 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A BROKEN LINE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING LAKES PONTCHARTRAIN AND MAUREPAS FROM THE
NORTH. GUSTY WINDS IN ADVANCE OF THIS LINE WILL IMPACT THE LAKES
THROUGH 2 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS TO AROUND 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
