WATERS FROM PT. SAL TO SANTA CRUZ ISLAND CA AND WESTWARD 60 NM
INCLUDING SAN MIGUEL AND SANTA ROSA ISLANDS-

...WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG CONTINUING THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING NORTH
OF SAN NICOLAS ISLAND...

A SHALLOW MARINE LAYER WILL CONTINUE TO CREATE DENSE FOG ACROSS
THE COASTAL WATERS. WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE
COASTAL WATERS NORTH OF POINT CONCEPTION THROUGH THIS MORNING.THERE
COULD BE SOME PATCHY DENSE FOG IN PORTIONS OF THE SANTA BARBARA
CHANNEL AS WELL THIS MORNING. MARINERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR
ABRUPT VISIBILITY CHANGES DOWN TO ONE NAUTICAL MILE OR
LESS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE CENTRAL COAST. REDUCE SPEEDS AND BE ON
THE LOOKOUT FOR EXPOSED ROCKS AND OTHER VESSELS...AND USE RADAR OR
GPS NAVIGATION IF AVAILABLE.

MARINERS IN HARBOR...ESPECIALLY THOSE WITHOUT RADAR...SHOULD
CONSIDER REMAINING IN HARBOR AS DENSE FOG CAN OBSCURE EXPOSED
ROCKS AND OTHER VESSELS...INCLUDING LARGE SHIPS IN THE SHIPPING
LANES.
