...THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING THE COASTAL WATERS FROM THE EAST...

AT 648 PM CDT...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DETECTED A NORTH SOUTH
ORIENTED BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS BEGINNING TO EMERGE OFF THE NORTHWEST
FLORIDA COAST NEAR CEDAR KEY. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING WEST AT
15 KNOTS.

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS OF 25 TO 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE
HARBOR IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
