The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Gale Warning,
which is in effect from 9 AM to 5 PM PST Sunday. The Gale Watch
is no longer in effect.

* WAVES...W 11 to 13 ft at 13 seconds tonight...subsiding to 8 to
  10 ft Sun morning. Southerly wind waves will then build to 8 to
  10 ft at 8 to 10 seconds through the day on Sun while westerly
  swell builds to 14 to 16 ft at 15 seconds. Seas will remain
  elevated and hazardous on Mon.


* WINDS...Southerly gusts to 40 kt on Sun.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.

is no longer in effect.

  7 ft at 5 seconds during the afternoon Sun while westerly swell
