The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Gale
Warning...which is in effect from 7 AM to 7 PM EST Sunday. a
Small Craft Advisory has also been issued. This Small Craft
Advisory is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Sunday.

* WIND AND WAVES DURING THE GALE WARNING...Expect sustained
  winds of up to 33 knots from the southwest, with gusts up to
  47 knots. The largest expected significant waves will be 9
  feet with a maximum wave height of up to 14 feet possible.

* TIMING...The maximum winds are expected around 10 AM EST
  Sunday with the largest waves expected around 10 AM EST
  Sunday.

* WIND AND WAVES DURING THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY...Expect
  sustained winds of up to 29 knots from the east, with gusts
  up to 35 knots. The largest expected significant waves will
  be 8 feet with a maximum wave height of up to 11 feet
  possible.

* TIMING...The maximum winds are expected around 2 AM EST Sunday
  with the largest waves expected around 2 AM EST Sunday.

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
