A LARGE AREA OF LIGHT TO MODERATE RAIN IS CURRENTLY IMPACTING THE
ENTIRE ISLAND CHAIN AND SURROUNDING COASTAL WATERS...WITH THE
HEAVIEST ACTIVITY FOUND FROM MARATHON TO JEWFISH CREEK BRIDGE. A
BROAD SWATH OF STRONGER SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IS ALSO FOUND
ACROSS THE DISTANT FLORIDA STRAITS MAINLY BEYOND 15 MILES SOUTH OF THE
ISLAND CHAIN. THE HEAVIEST STORMS ARE FOUND IN A LINE 55 MILES SOUTH
OF TENNESSEE REEF LIGHT AND BIG PINE SHOAL...AND ARE CURRENTLY
STREAMING NORTHWARD AT AROUND 20 KNOTS ACROSS THE STRAITS OF FLORIDA.

UNTIL 6 PM...THE MOVEMENT MOST OTHER ACTIVITY WILL BE TOWARD THE
NORTH AT 10 TO 15 KNOTS. OVER LAND...ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE HALF TO 1
INCH IS POSSIBLE. A FEW STRONGER STORMS WELL SOUTH OF THE ISLAND
CHAIN WILL DELIVER WIND GUSTS OF 25 TO 30 KNOTS...OCCASIONAL
LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND REDUCED VISIBILITY TO BELOW 4 MILES IN HEAVY
RAIN.
