The National Weather Service in Hanford has cancelled the Wind
Advisory for the San Joaquin Valley.

Winds have decreased in the San Joaquin Valley this evening and
will continue to decrease overnight.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM PDT SATURDAY...

* WINDS...Northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph possible.
  Strongest winds expected over the ridgetops and through
  northeast-southwest oriented canyons.

* TIMING...Winds expected to increase this evening and continue
  overnight, then diminish Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
  lines. The combination of dead or weakened trees and moist soil
  conditions will increase the potential for downed trees.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 45 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
