...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a
High Wind Warning, which is in effect until 3 PM PST this
afternoon. The Wind Advisory is no longer in effect.

* WINDS AND TIMING...Northeast winds will increase to 25 to 40 mph
  with gusts to 60 mph. The winds will diminish later in the
  afternoon.

* Impacts...Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles driving through Interstate 5,
  highways 14 and 33 as well as the canyons in the Santa Monica
  Mountains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means that damaging high winds of 58 mph or
greater are likely or imminent. Secure all loose outdoor
furniture in advance of the onset of strong winds. Monitor the
latest forecasts on NOAA Weather Radio or your favorite media
source.

* WINDS AND TIMING...Northeast winds will increase 20 to 35 mph
  with gusts to 50 mph this morning. Winds will be strongest in
  eastern Ventura County and the Santa Clarita Valley as well as
  the western and northern portions of the San Fernando Valley.
  The winds will diminish later this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles across Highways 5, 14, 118, 210 and
  the 405.

  for high profile vehicles across Highways 1 and 101.
