* TIMING...THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.

* TEMPERATURE...WILL RANGE BETWEEN 93 TO 96 DEGREES. HIGH
  HUMIDITY WILL PRODUCE HEAT INDEX VALUES 100 TO 105 DEGREES...
  ESPECIALLY BETWEEN 1 PM CDT AND 7 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL RAISE THE RISK OF HEAT
  RELATED ILLNESSES SUCH AS HEAT EXHAUSTION OR HEAT STROKE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS IF YOU WORK OR SPEND TIME OUTSIDE. WHEN
POSSIBLE...RESCHEDULE STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES TO EARLY MORNING OR
EVENING. KNOW THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF HEAT EXHAUSTION AND HEAT
STROKE. WEAR LIGHT WEIGHT AND LOOSE FITTED CLOTHING WHEN POSSIBLE
AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.

TO REDUCE THE RISK DURING OUTDOOR WORK THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY
AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDS SCHEDULING FREQUENT REST
BREAKS IN SHADED OR AIR CONDITIONED ENVIRONMENTS. ANYONE OVERCOME
BY HEAT SHOULD BE MOVED TO A COOL AND SHADED LOCATION. HEAT
STROKE IS A EMERGENCY - CALL 911.
