LATE TONIGHT. WINDS WILL INCREASE BEHIND THE COLD FRONT TUESDAY

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 9 PM PDT TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PENDLETON HAS ISSUED A WIND
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 9 PM PDT TUESDAY.

* TIMING: WINDS WILL INCREASE THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING WITH WIND
  SPEEDS AND GUSTS PEAKING DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING.
  WINDS WILL DECREASE BY MID EVENING TUESDAY.

* WINDS: WEST TO NORTHWEST 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO 50
  MPH. STRONGEST WINDS OF 30 TO 35 MPH WILL OCCUR OVER THE
  NORTHERN HALF OF THE VALLEY.

* IMPACTS: THESE WINDS CAN MAKE DRIVING CONDITIONS DIFFICULT...
  ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. ALSO...LOOSE OBJECTS CAN
  BECOME AIRBORNE.

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST
BETWEEN 30 AND 39 MPH OR GUSTS RANGING FROM 45 TO 57 MPH. WINDS
OF THESE MAGNITUDES CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR
HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE MAY ALSO OCCUR. FOR
