...FREEZING FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON...

* Visibilities: One half mile or less.

* Timing: Areas of dense freezing fog will affect some valley
locations of southwest Montana through this afternoon.

* Impacts: Limited visibility and ice on bridges and roadways will
make travel very difficult from the north Helena Valley
southeast through the Canyon Ferry Lake area into Belgrade. This
includes the Bozeman Yellowstone Airport. However, the city of
Bozeman and downtown Helena are not included in the advisory, as
fog has dissipated in these areas. These conditions are also
expected to continue through the afternoon in the Big Hole
  Valley area of Beaverhead County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freezing Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Also,
be alert for ice on bridge decks causing slippery roads.

For specific road and travel conditions in Montana, dial 5 1 1 .
