West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Low pressure over the Carolinas
will move northeast off the North Carolina coast today. The low
rapid intensifies through tonight as it moves northeast of the
area by Saturday morning. High pressure will move over the waters
behind the low from Saturday afternoon through Sunday. Weak low
pressure will move over the mid-Atlantic waters from the west
Sunday night and Monday as high pressure remains over the
southern waters. High pressure builds north Monday night, but a
cold front approaches from the northwest Tuesday and moves
through the waters Tuesday night.
