Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A low pressure trough will
persist along the coast tonight into Fri, then expand north and
weaken Fri night through Mon. High pressure will remain
stationary northwest of the waters into Fri, then weaken and
dissipate Sat into Sat night. A weak area of low pressure will
form west of the area Fri, remain stationary west of the waters
through Sun night, then dissipate Mon into Mon night. Another low
pressure trough will develop along the coast late Mon night
through Tue night, while another high pressure ridge builds
northwest of the waters.
