THIS PAST FEBRUARY WAS THE COLDEST MONTH EVER OBSERVED AT BANGOR
MAINE. THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 6.1 DEGREES (F) BROKE THE RECORD
OF 8.4 DEGREES (F) OBSERVED IN JANUARY 1994.

AT CARIBOU...THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF 2.8 DEGREES (F) THIS PAST
FEBRUARY BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD COLD FEBRUARY IN 1993 WHEN THE
AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 4.1 DEGREES (F).
