In the 24 hour period ending at 8:00 AM this morning, showers moved
across portions of the river district, with the heaviest of rainfall
moving across southeastern NC. A trace to a quarter of an inch fell,
with 2 to 3 inches in heavier rainfall. Through Tuesday morning, a
few isolated showers are possible, but accumulation amounts will be
minimal.
