HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

...The following rivers were reported to be rising ...or will be
rising in the next 24 hours...the Menominee River...Peshtigo River...
Upper Wolf River...Wisconsin River...Wolf River...

For the Wisconsin River below Wausau
* The latest stage was 1165 feet.
* At 1165 feet...Mainly lowland flooding is occurring in DC Everest
  Park and Oak Island Park.


For the Wisconsin River at Rothschild
* The latest stage was 17.7 feet.
* At 18.0 feet...There is a buildup of ice and water.


For the Wisconsin River below Dubay Reservoir
* The latest stage was 1095 feet.
* At 1095 feet...flooding in wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Stevens Point
* The latest stage was 1074 feet.
* At 1074 feet...there is flooding of wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Whiting Dam
* The latest stage was 1052 feet.
* At 1051 feet...Flooding is confined to wooded lowland.


For the Wisconsin River below Biron Reservoir
* The latest stage was 1015 feet.
* At 1015 feet...Wooded lowland flooding is occurring.  There is
  minor shoreline flooding of some homes on Shoreline Acres Drive in
  Biron.


For the Menominee River near McAllister
* The latest stage was 12.6 feet.
* At 12.0 feet...There is a build up of ice and water.


For the Peshtigo River near Porterfield
* The latest stage was 10.5 feet.
* At 10.0 feet...There is minor flooding of wooded lowland.  Flood
  stage is at 12 feet.


For the Upper Wolf River at Langlade
* The latest stage was 10.1 feet.
* At 10.5 feet...There is a buildup of ice and water within the banks
  of the river.


For the Wolf River near Shiocton
* The latest stage was 11.2 feet.
* At 12.0 feet...Flooding is confined to lowland and agricultural
  land.  The entire boat landing in Shiocton is under several feet of
  floodwaters.  Water is surrounding lowland areas around homes on
  Mill Street and Island Street .


For the Wolf River at New London
* The latest stage was 7.6 feet.
* At 8.0 feet...flooding affects confined to lowland regions adjacent
  to the river.  Slow no wake advisories may be posted for part of
  the river during the boating season. .


Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next scheduled
routine statement will be issued tomorrow morning.
