POHNPEI NEAR 7N156E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
COVER A LARGE AREA SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 11N130E TO 10N145E TO
5N153E. THIS AREA INCLUDES THE REPUBLIC OF PALAU...YAP STATE AND
WESTERN CHUUK STATE.

A SURFACE TROUGH EXTENDS NORTHEASTWARD FROM 15N140E TO END AT
23N145E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE CNMI IN
AN AREA BOUNDED BY A LINE FROM 16N140E TO 25N146E TO 15N148E BACK TO
16N140E.

A MID TO UPPER-LEVEL LOW IS CENTERED WEST OF WAKE ISLAND NEAR
20N160E. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FOUND
MAINLY SOUTH AND EAST OF THE CENTER. THIS AREA LIES NORTH OF POHNPEI
AND KWAJALEIN BUT OVER WAKE WITHIN 300 MILES OF A LINE FROM 12N160E
TO 22N168E.
