AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH EXTENDS NORTHEASTWARD FROM 17N130E TO
25N138E AND FARTHER BEYOND. UPPER-LEVEL DIVERGENCE EAST OF THIS
TROUGH COMBINED WITH LOW-LEVEL CONVERGENCE NEAR A SURFACE LOW
AROUND 26N138E IS CREATING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN 200 MILES OF A LINE FROM 14N130E TO 25N147E.
THIS IS JUST SOUTHEAST OF IWO TO ISLANDS AND IS NORTH AND WEST OF
THE MARIANAS.

A SERIES OF SURFACE TROUGHS IS CAUSING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS SOUTH OF YAP WITHIN 120 MILES OF A LINE FROM
2N133E TO 7N142E...AND NEAR KOSRAE AND THE SOUTHERN MARSHALL
ISLANDS BETWEEN 2N AND 7N FROM 160E TO 175E. AN UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH
NORTH OF KOSRAE IS CONTRIBUTING TO AN ADDITIONAL AREA WITHIN 60
MILES OF 8N162E.
