...Band of showers with strong winds Will Impact Portions of
Columbia... McDuffie...Burke...southeastern Lincoln...Richmond and
southwestern Barnwell Counties Until 115 AM EST...

At 1232 AM EST...National Weather Service doppler radar indicated
showers with possibly strong winds along a line extending from 11
miles southeast of Washington to near Payne City...and moving east-
southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...strong winds 40 to 50 mph.

  IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light, unsecured objects.

Some locations in the path of these storms include...
Grovetown, Evans, Thomson, Waynesboro, Augusta, Martinez, Fort
Gordon, Hephzibah, Harlem, Sardis, Midville, Blythe, Dearing,
Keysville, Girard and Vidette.
