...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN PUTNAM...
WHITESIDE...SOUTHEASTERN CARROLL...NORTHERN BUREAU AND EAST CENTRAL
CLINTON COUNTIES UNTIL 730 AM CDT...

At 623 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from Byron to Clinton. Movement was southeast
at 40 mph.

Winds up to 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Clinton, Sterling, Rock Falls, Princeton, Morrison, Hennepin, Spring
Valley, Camanche, Fulton, Prophetstown, DePue, Granville, Walnut,
Ladd, Garden Plain, Milledgeville, Fairhaven, Albany, Tampico and La
Moille.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 80 in Illinois between mile markers 53 and 72.
 Interstate 88 between mile markers 20 and 44.
 Interstate 180 between mile markers 7 and 13.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
