NORTHERN ALEXANDER COUNTIES UNTIL 1045 PM EDT...

AT 1001 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A SERIES OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TRACKING REPEATEDLY EASTWARD ACROSS THE NORTHERN PART
OF CALDWELL AND ALEXANDER COUNTIES FROM KINGS CREEK TO VASHTI. RADAR
INDICATED RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR IN THIS REGION
OVER THE PAST HOUR AND ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL AT RATES OF ONE
HALF TO ONE INCH PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH 1045 PM. ISOLATED
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THIS AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL MAY FLOOD AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE...SUCH AS
DITCHES AND UNDERPASSES. AVOID THESE AREAS AND DO NOT CROSS FLOODED
ROADS. WATER LEVELS OF SMALL STREAMS MAY ALSO RISE RAPIDLY. SEEK
HIGHER GROUND IF THREATENED BY FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT DRIVE ACROSS
FLOODED ROADS.
