...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL SAN
LUIS OBISPO COUNTY THROUGH 430 PM PDT...

At 339 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm east
of the California Valley, 16 miles northwest of McKittrick, or 41
miles southwest of Delano, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carrizo Plain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
