COUNTIES UNTIL 300 AM CDT...

At 228 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Lawrence to near Keene.
Movement was south at 30 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Topeka, Lawrence, Baldwin City, Carbondale, Valley Falls, Rossville,
Oskaloosa, Eskridge, Tecumseh, Eudora, St. Marys, Richland, Dover,
Silver Lake, Auburn, Overbrook, Burlingame, Perry, McLouth and
Meriden.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 between mile markers 336 and 355.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 146 and 205.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
