The National Weather Service in Gray Maine has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Strafford County in central New Hampshire...
  Belknap County in central New Hampshire...
  Southern Carroll County in northern New Hampshire...

* Until 715 PM EDT

* At 639 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Laconia,
  moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees, and power lines.

* Locations impacted include...
  Laconia, Meredith, Ossipee, Moultonborough, Alton, Barnstead,
  Gilmanton, Effingham, Wolfeboro, Belmont, Gilford, Acton, Freedom,
  Brookfield, Eaton, Wakefield, Tuftonboro, New Durham, Middleton and
  Parsonsfield.

This also includes...
  Lake Winnipesaukee.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Lake Winnipesaukee, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to
15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter
now!  Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
