...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN IBERIA...ST. MARY AND SOUTHEASTERN ST. MARTIN
PARISHES...

At 1101 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Napoleonville to 17 miles southwest of Burns Point,
moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Morgan City, Franklin, Patterson, Berwick, Bayou Vista,
Stephensville, Burns Point, Belle River, Ellerslie, Patterson
Memorial Airport, Amelia, Pierre Part and Centerville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Lake Charles.
