The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Moultrie County in central Illinois...
  North central Shelby County in central Illinois...
  Southern Macon County in central Illinois...

* Until 615 PM CDT

* At 549 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Westervelt, or 11 miles north of Shelbyville,
  moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Findlay around 555 PM CDT.
  Bethany around 600 PM CDT.
  Sullivan around 605 PM CDT.
  Lovington and Allenville around 610 PM CDT.
  Arthur around 615 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Cadwell and Kirksville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
