...SNOW MOVING ACROSS THE AREA...EXPECT SLIPPERY ROADS...

.AS OF 4 AM SNOW CONTINUED TO LIFT NORTHEAST ACROSS THE ADVISORY
AREA. MOST OF THE SNOW WAS NORTH OF AN AUSTIN AND WINONA
MINNESOTA TO BLACK RIVER FALLS AND WAUSAU WISCONSIN LINE.
THE HEAVIER AND STEADIER SNOW REMAINED MAINLY NORTH OF AREA FROM
AROUND THE TWIN CITIES INTO NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

SOUTH OF THIS...A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WAS SPREADING ACROSS
NORTHEAST IOWA AND FAR SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA INTO WESTERN
WISCONSIN...WITH THE SNOW TAPERING OFF ACROSS NORTH-CENTRAL IOWA.

SNOW TOTALS SO FAR HAVE MOSTLY BEEN 1/2 TO 2.5 INCHES. LAW
ENFORCEMENT HAS REPORTED SNOW COVERED ROADS ACROSS PARTS OF
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA...ALONG WITH SOME SLIDE
OFFS.

THE HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL THROUGH 7
AM...WITH THE SNOW TAPERING OFF FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST AFTER
7 AM. SNOW TOTALS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED...WITH THE
HEAVIER AMOUNTS GENERALLY NORTH OF AN AUSTIN TO WABASHA MINNESOTA
AND HIGHWAY 10 IN WISCONSIN LINE.

ROAD CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN HAZARDOUS LATE TONIGHT AND THIS
MORNING AS SNOW FALLS ACROSS THE AREA. EXPECT SLIPPERY TRAVEL
THROUGH THIS MORNING AND ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO SAFELY REACH YOUR
DESTINATION. ROAD CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE THROUGH THE MID AND LATE
