* LOCATIONS...THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF PENNSYLVANIA.

* HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW AND SOME FREEZING RAIN.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 10 INCHES.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A TRACE POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL BECOME MORE ORGANIZED AND HEAVIER THIS
  EVENING. THE SNOW INTENSITY WILL INCREASE SUBSTANTIALLY
  OVERNIGHT...BECOMING HEAVY FOR MUCH OF THE OVERNIGHT. A VERY
  SHORT PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN OR SLEET IS POSSIBLE MONDAY
  MORNING.

* PERIOD OF HEAVIEST SNOW...LATE THIS EVENING THROUGH EARLY
  MONDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW COVERED ROADS.

* WINDS...LIGHT EAST...INCREASING TO 10 MPH OVERNIGHT THEN

  VALLEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW FOLLOWED BY SOME FREEZING RAIN.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 8 INCHES.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...INITIALLY MODERATE SNOW WILL DECREASE OR STOP FOR A
  FEW HOURS THIS EVENING...BUT IT WILL PICK UP AGAIN BEFORE
  MIDNIGHT. THE SNOW IS THEN EXPECTED TO MIX WITH SLEET AND
  FREEZING RAIN LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING. FAR
  SOUTHERN AREAS MAY SEE A COMPLETE CHANGEOVER TO RAIN EARLY
  MONDAY MORNING. ANY PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE BACK TO SNOW
  SHOWERS...BUT ALSO BECOME MUCH LESS WIDESPREAD BY NOON MONDAY.

* PERIOD OF HEAVIEST SNOW...FROM AROUND MIDNIGHT TO ALMOST
  SUNRISE MONDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW COVERED ROADS. A COATING
  OF ICE MAY THEN LEAD TO SLIPPERY UNTREATED SURFACES LIKE
  SIDEWALKS. THE MORNING COMMUTE COULD BE HAZARDOUS AS
  TEMPERATURES DROP BACK BELOW FREEZING AROUND THAT TIME.

  SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW FOLLOWED BY FREEZING RAIN.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...AROUND ONE TENTH OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...INITIALLY MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW OVER THE WESTERN
  MOUNTAINS WILL DECREASE OR STOP FOR A FEW HOURS THROUGH EARLY
  THIS EVENING...BUT IT WILL PICK UP AGAIN LATER THIS EVENING AND
  MOVE INTO THE EASTERN VALLEYS AS WELL. THE SNOW IS THEN EXPECTED
  TO CHANGE TO MAINLY FREEZING RAIN LATER TONIGHT. FAR SOUTHERN
  AREAS MAY SEE A COMPLETE CHANGEOVER TO RAIN EARLY MONDAY
  MORNING. MOST LOCATIONS WILL SEE PRECIPITATION END AS SNOW
  SHOWERS WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS MAINLY HELD TO THE HIGHER
  TERRAIN OF THE LAUREL MOUNTAINS.

* PERIOD OF HEAVIEST SNOW...LATE THIS EVENING AND EARLY TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW COVERED OR ICY ROADS. A
  COATING OF ICE WILL ALSO LEAD TO SLIPPERY UNTREATED SURFACES
  LIKE SIDEWALKS. THE MORNING COMMUTE COULD BE HAZARDOUS AS
  TEMPERATURES WILL DROP BACK BELOW FREEZING AROUND THAT TIME.

* LOCATIONS...SOUTH-CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA.

* HAZARD TYPES...SNOW FOLLOWED BY FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...GENERALLY 2 TO 3 INCHES...WITH HIGHER
  AMOUNTS ON THE RIDGES OF THE LAUREL MOUNTAINS.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...PATCHY LIGHT SNOW WILL BECOME STEADIER LATER THIS
  EVENING. THE SNOW WILL THEN BEGIN TO MIX WITH AND CHANGE TO
  FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET EARLY TONIGHT. THE PRECIPITATION WILL
  MOST LIKELY BECOME PLAIN RAIN FOR A GOOD PORTION OF THE NIGHT.
  PRECIPITATION WILL THEN TAPER OFF AS SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ON
  MONDAY MORNING.

* PERIOD OF HEAVIEST SNOW...EARLY TONIGHT.

* IMPACTS...HAZARDOUS TRAVEL DUE TO SNOW COVERED ROADS. A COATING
  OF ICE WILL THEN LEAD TO SLIPPERY UNTREATED SURFACES LIKE
  SIDEWALKS. THE MORNING COMMUTE COULD BE HAZARDOUS AS
  TEMPERATURES WILL START TO DROP BACK BELOW FREEZING AROUND THAT
  TIME.

* WINDS...SOUTHEAST 5 MPH OR LESS WITH GUSTS UP TO 25 MPH.
