A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CST THIS
EVENING.

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL PERSIST ACROSS THE AREA THIS EVENING.
  THE SNOW COULD BE MODERATE AT TIMES...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND NORTH
  OF A RUSHVILLE TO DANVILLE LINE.

* ACCUMULATIONS...AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW WILL BE
  POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH THE HIGHEST TOTALS NORTH OF A
  GALESBURG TO BLOOMINGTON/NORMAL LINE.

* WIND...GUSTY NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS OF UP TO 35 MPH WILL CAUSE
  SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF THE SNOW THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...ROADWAYS WILL REMAIN HAZARDOUS THIS EVENING...OR
  BECOME HAZARDOUS AGAIN...AS TEMPERATURES FALL...FREEZING ANY
  SNOW OR MELTED SNOW. THIS WILL BE ESPECIALLY TRUE ON ANY
  UNTREATED ROADWAYS....BRIDGES OR OVERPASSES. IN
  ADDITION...VISIBILITIES WILL BECOME POOR DUE TO THE BLOWING AND
  DRIFTING OF THE SNOW...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS LATE THIS EVENING.

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW
ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL DANGEROUS. ONLY TRAVEL IN AN
EMERGENCY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT...

  BE POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH THE HIGHER AMOUNTS NORTH OF
  THE I-72 CORRIDOR.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SLICK THIS EVENING AS TEMPERATURES
  FALL TO BELOW FREEZING...FREEZING ANY MELTED SNOW OR RAIN STILL
  STANDING ON THE ROADWAYS. THIS WILL ESPECIALLY BE TRUE ON
  UNTREATED ROADWAYS...BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
