...ANOTHER BURST OF COLD AIR BRINGS WITH IT A RISK OF WINTRY
PRECIPITATION...

.A SHARP COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTHWESTWARD ACROSS THE AREA EARLY
WEDNESDAY MORNING WITH MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES IN ITS WAKE.
WHILE PRECIPITATION THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS SHOULD REMAIN IN
LIQUID FORM...A CHANGEOVER FROM NORTHEAST TO SOUTHWEST TO LIGHT
FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET IS EXPECTED BY LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING AS
NEAR SURFACE TEMPERATURES DROP. BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...A
TRANSITION TO SNOW IS ANTICIPATED WITH THE ARRIVAL OF COLDER AIR
ALOFT. PRECIPITATION SHOULD BEGIN TO TAPER LATE WEDNESDAY EVENING
AS DRIER AIR FILTERS INTO THE REGION.  AVERAGE SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
SHOULD BE AROUND ONE INCH ALTHOUGH LOCALIZED AREAS OF LOWER AND
HIGHER ACCUMULATIONS TO NEAR TWO INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LUBBOCK HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FREEZING RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 3 AM WEDNESDAY TO 12 AM CST THURSDAY MORNING.

* TIMING...ACCUMULATIONS OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE
  SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE AND NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS ARE EXPECTED
  TO BEGIN BEFORE SUNRISE WEDNESDAY MORNING AND SPREAD
  SOUTHWESTWARD DURING THE DAY.

* MAIN IMPACT...LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF ICE FROM FREEZING RAIN AND
  OR SLEET WILL PROVIDE THE INITIAL WINTRY THREAT FOLLOWED BY
  SNOWFALL. WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL AMOUNTS NEAR ONE INCH ARE EXPECTED
  WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS TO TWO INCHES POSSIBLE.

* OTHER IMPACTS...ICY AND SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS WILL RESULT IN
  HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
