...ANOTHER HEAVY...WET SNOWSTORM EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY IN
SISKIYOU COUNTY...INCLUDING NEAR MOUNT SHASTA CITY...

.OCCASIONAL...MAINLY LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS
MORNING AS ONE STORM SYSTEM DEPARTS THE AREA. ANOTHER STORM WILL
TAKE AIM AT THE REGION TONIGHT AND FRIDAY. THIS ONE WILL BRING
ANOTHER ROUND OF HEAVY...WET SNOW TO PORTIONS OF SISKIYOU
COUNTY...INCLUDING THE MOUNT SHASTA REGION. THE HEAVY SNOW WILL
ONCE AGAIN SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT TRAVEL ALONG INTERSTATE 5 AND
HIGHWAY 89. TREES COULD TOPPLE AND POWER LINES MAY BE DOWNED DUE
TO THE HEAVY...WET SNOW.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEDFORD HAS CANCELLED THE WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO AN ADDITIONAL INCH THIS
  MORNING...THEN ANOTHER 8 TO 12 INCHES TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. UP TO
  20 INCHES OF NEW SNOW IS EXPECTED IN THE MOUNTAINS.

* WINDS...SOUTH 10 TO 20 MPH.

* ELEVATION...ABOVE 3000 FEET.

* TIMING...INTERMITTENT SNOW WILL TAPER OFF THIS MORNING.
  ANOTHER PERIOD OF HEAVY...WET SNOW IS EXPECTED TONIGHT INTO
  FRIDAY.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...HIGH TERRAIN OF WESTERN SISKIYOU COUNTY...
  INCLUDING STATE HIGHWAY 3 OVER SCOTT MOUNTAIN SUMMIT...
  PORTIONS OF SAWYERS BAR ROAD BETWEEN ETNA AND SOMES BAR
  INCLUDING SUMMIT.

* IMPACTS...PERIODS OF SNOW WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT ON AREA
  ROADWAYS THIS MORNING...THEN HEAVY WET SNOW WILL BRING
  EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS WITH LOW VISIBILITY
  TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY. SOME ROADS COULD BECOME IMPASSABLE. THE
  HEAVY...WET SNOW COULD ALSO SNAP TREE LIMBS AND DOWN POWER
  LINES.
