...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO
5 PM PDT WEDNESDAY ABOVE 3500 FEET FOR THE SOUTH WASHINGTON AND
NORTH OREGON CASCADES NEAR MOUNT HOOD...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY ABOVE 3500 FEET FOR SNOW... WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM PDT WEDNESDAY.

* TIMING...TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.

* ACCUMULATION/SNOW LEVELS...SNOW WILL INCREASE THIS EVENING WITH
  NEW SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 4 TO 6 INCHES TONIGHT AND AGAIN
  WEDNESDAY FOR THE SOUTH WASHINGTON CASCADES AND THE NORTH OREGON
  CASCADES NORTH OF MOUNT JEFFERSON. SNOW LEVELS WILL REMAIN
  AROUND 3500 TO 4000 FEET THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

* IMPACTS...DRIVERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR ICY OR SNOW COVERED
  ROADS AND WINTER LIKE DRIVING CONDITIONS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
