...THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN
MINNESOTA..
  MISSISSIPPI RIVER AT AITKIN AFFECTING AITKIN AND CROW WING
  COUNTIES

.COLDER TEMPERATURES OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS WILL RESULT IN A
SLOWING OF ADDITIONAL SNOW MELT WATER FLOWING INTO THE MISSISSIPPI
RIVER BASIN.  HOWEVER...WATER THAT IS ALREADY MOVING WITHIN THE
BASIN WILL CONTINUE TO RESULT IN A SLOW RISE TO A CREST AROUND
THIRTEEN AND A HALF FEET SOMETIME WEDNESDAY MORNING AT AITKIN.
THIS NEW FORECAST CREST IS SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN THE PREVIOUS
FORECAST.

* AT  8:30 PM SUNDAY THE STAGE WAS 13.0 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 12.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 13.5 FEET BY
  EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING THEN BEGIN FALLING.
* AT 13.0 FEET...SOME ROADS ARE COVERED WITH WATER..
THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 13.9 FEET ON MAY 3 2008.
