...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Mississippi River at Aitkin affecting Aitkin and Crow Wing Counties
  Mississippi River near Fort Ripley affecting Crow Wing and Morrison
  Counties

.Rainfall over the weekend has had little affect on the recessions
observed on area streams and rivers. Some locales may see the
recession slow briefly as additional water moves through...but
overall...water levels will continue decreasing.

The Flood Warning continues for...

  The Mississippi River at Aitkin.

* At 9:30 AM Monday the stage was 14.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Wednesday early afternoon.
* At 13.0 feet...The boat ramp at Aitkin city park floods. A few
  driveways become covered with water in the Ceadarbrook area. Minor
  flooding of farmland occurs in the Cedarbrook community.

This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.9 feet on May 3 2008.

  The Mississippi River near Fort Ripley.

* At  9:30 AM Monday the stage was 10.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Friday evening.
* At 11.0 feet...This will cause minor flooding of rural areas near
  Fort Ripley.

This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.3 feet on May 22 2015.
