...THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR THE FOLLOWING RIVERS IN
MINNESOTA..
  MISSISSIPPI RIVER AT AITKIN AFFECTING AITKIN COUNTY

.WARM CONDITIONS OVER THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS HAS RESULTED IN SNOW MELT
RUNOFF ACROSS THE AREA. ADDITIONAL SNOW MELT WILL SLOW
DUE TO COOLER TEMPERATURES INTO THE BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK.

THE FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR
  THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AT AITKIN.
* AT  6:30 AM SUNDAY THE STAGE WAS 12.8 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 12.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 13.2 FEET BY
  EARLY TUESDAY MORNING THEN BEGIN FALLING.
* AT 13.0 FEET...SOME ROADS ARE COVERED WITH WATER.
  THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 13.9 FEET ON MAY 3 2008.
