.DISCUSSION...

Sunny to mostly sunny skies are expected today as high pressure
persists over the region. Winds will be from the south for much of
the day, shifting to the southeast late this afternoon. Deep
mixing occurring today is expected to result in wind gusts up to
23 mph being mixed down at 1600 CDT. Average wind gust today will
be around the 18 to 22 mph range, coming from the south. Min RH
today will be dropping as low as 27 percent around 1500 CDT as
dry air aloft is mixed to the surface. Smoke dispersal today will
be increasing from fair at 1000 CDT this morning to excellent
this afternoon. Widespread rain arrives tomorrow morning and
persists through the day. Breezy winds from the southeast are
expected tomorrow.
