THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AREAS OF DENSE FOG ARE POSSIBLE NEAR THE TWIN PORTS AND ALONG THE
NORTH SHORE EARLY SUNDAY MORNING. VISIBILITY WILL LOWER TO LESS
THAN ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO ORGANIZE OVER THE NORTHERN OR
CENTRAL PLAINS LATE TUESDAY. SNOW MAY DEVELOP AS EARLY AS
TUESDAY NIGHT OVER PARTS OF THE NORTHLAND. SOME UNCERTAINTY EXISTS
AS TO WHETHER THIS SYSTEM WILL STRENGTHEN AND APPROACH THE
NORTHLAND WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL SOMEWHERE IN THE REGION HOWEVER IT IS TOO
EARLY TO DETERMINE WHERE THE GREATEST THREAT WILL BE.

RUNOFF FROM THE SNOWMELT WILL CONTINUE TO FEED INTO AREA RIVERS
AND STREAMS CAUSING THEM TO RISE OR REMAIN HIGH FOR THE NEXT WEEK
OR SO. WHILE NO MAJOR FLOODING IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME ON ANY OF
THE MAJOR RIVERS ACROSS NORTHEAST MINNESOTA OR NORTHWEST
WISCONSIN...IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOME OF THE SMALLER TRIBUTARY
STREAMS AND RIVERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD...
ALONG THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR...AND ALONG THE SOUTH
SHORE IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN COULD POSE A FLOODING THREAT.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SKYWARN SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY OR TONIGHT.
