THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH A FEW HIGHER GUSTS WILL
PERSIST ACROSS MUCH OF THE NORTHLAND THROUGH MOST OF TONIGHT. THIS
WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS.

A 3 TO 5 HOUR PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW WILL SPREAD ACROSS MOST OF
NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY
MORNING. HALF INCH TO INCH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS APPEAR LIKELY IN MOST
AREAS...WITH UP TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE ACROSS PARTS OF THE MINNESOTA
ARROWHEAD. THIS SNOW WILL BE VERY LIGHT AND FLUFFY AND EASILY BLOWN
AROUND...AND THE GUSTY WINDS COULD RESULT IN PERIODS OF
SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITY IN OPEN AREAS...OR WHEN PASSING
OTHER VEHICLES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

STRONG AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP TUESDAY IN THE WAKE OF
A STRONG COLD FRONT. WIDESPREAD AND FREQUENT WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 25
AND 30 MPH ARE LIKELY. THIS WILL RESULT IN CONTINUED AREAS OF
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND LOCALLY REDUCED VISIBILITY. IN
ADDITION...WIND CHILL READINGS IN MANY AREAS WILL FALL TO
DANGEROUSLY COLD VALUES IN THE 20S AND 30S BELOW ZERO ONCE AGAIN
TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY OR
WARNING MAY BE REQUIRED FOR MUCH OF THE NORTHLAND DURING THIS TIME
PERIOD.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

REPORTS FROM OUR SNOWFALL OBSERVERS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED TONIGHT
