THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT NORTHEAST MINNESOTA
AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN UNTIL LATE THIS MORNING. A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT THROUGH NOON TODAY.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE FROM WEST TO THE EAST THROUGH THE NORTHLAND
TODAY AND THIS EVENING. ITS PASSAGE WILL BRING A TRANSITION FROM
RAIN AND DRIZZLE TO SLEET AND FREEZING DRIZZLE...BEFORE FULLY
TRANSITIONING TO SNOW. MUCH OF NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND ADJACENT
AREAS OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...INCLUDING THE INTERSTATE 35
CORRIDOR...CAN EXPECT VERY LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS FROM SLEET OR
FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT SNOWFALL ACCUMULATION. AREAS NEAR AND
EAST OF THE INTERSTATE 35 CORRIDOR...AND ALONG THE NORTH SHORE OF
THE ARROWHEAD...CAN EXPECT WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 4
INCHES THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

THERE WILL BE LINGERING LIGHT SNOW OVER THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD
AND IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. EXPECT
ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES. HIGHER AMOUNTS
OF 2 TO 5 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE SNOWBELT REGION OF IRON AND
ASHLAND COUNTIES.
