This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A cool front will sag south into the Borderland and the Iron
Range this afternoon. Scattered showers and a few isolated
thunderstorms are possible. Occasional lightning will be the main
concern with the thunderstorms.

A wintry mix of rain and snow will develop over much of the
Northland tonight as the front continues to move south. Up to an
inch of accumulation is possible in the high terrain of far
northeast Minnesota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

There will be a mixed bag of precipitation Sunday through Monday
night, especially across northeast Minnesota. There could be snow
and rain and some brief periods of sleet.

Snow spotters are requested to report precipitation type, and
measurements of snow or ice accumulations, to the National Weather
Service. Anyone can report precipitation type with the free

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

There will be brisk east winds Sunday through Monday, especially
at the far western end of lake Superior. Small Craft Advisories
may be needed.
