THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

LIGHT SNOWFALL MIXED WITH FREEZING DRIZZLE AT TIME WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH MID DAY TODAY IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA..ESPECIALLY NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 2. MOST LOCATIONS IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA CAN EXPECT AN
ADDITIONAL DUSTING TO A HALF INCH THIS MORNING...WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS OF
UP TO AN INCH OR SO IN THE INTERNATIONAL FALLS TO ELY REGION.

ANOTHER ROUND OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL MOVE UP THROUGH THE
NORTHLAN TODAY...BEGINNING IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN AS SNOW EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. THIS EVENING SNOW WILL TRANSITION TO A MIX OF RAIN AND
SNOW ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA. SOME SLEET MAY ALSO MIX
IN...ESPECIALLY IN THE BRAINERD LAKES REGION TO INTERNATIONAL
FALLS REGION AND AREAS WEST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A LONG DURATION PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED MONDAY THROUGH
CHRISTMAS EVE...WITH THE POTENTIAL TO IMPACT THE HOLIDAY TRAVEL
PERIOD. TEMPERATURES WILL ALSO BE IN THE 30S DURING THIS TIME...SO A
MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE. THERE REMAINS UNCERTAINTY ON
THE TRACK AND STRENGTH OF THE STORM AS WELL. THE SNOWFALL FORECAST
WILL CONTINUE TO BE REFINED THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

AT THIS TIME...THE GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR SNOWFALL TOTALS OVER THE
THREE DAY PERIOD IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES IS ACROSS THE ACROSS THE
MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD REGION...MAINLY ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN INLAND
FROM LAKE SUPERIOR.
