THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...REST OF TODAY AND TONIGHT

GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH A FEW HIGHER GUSTS WILL
DEVELOP ACROSS MUCH OF THE NORTHLAND THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.
THIS WILL RESULT IN AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN
AREAS.

A 3 TO 5 HOUR PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW WILL SPREAD ACROSS MOST OF
NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN FROM LATE THIS AFTERNOON
INTO EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. HALF INCH TO INCH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS
APPEAR LIKELY IN MOST AREAS...WITH UP TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE ACROSS
PARTS OF THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD. THIS SNOW WILL BE VERY LIGHT AND
FLUFFY AND EASILY BLOWN AROUND...AND THE GUSTY WINDS COULD RESULT IN
PERIODS OF SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITY IN OPEN AREAS...OR WHEN
PASSING OTHER VEHICLES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

STRONG AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP TUESDAY IN THE WAKE OF
A STRONG COLD FRONT. WIDESPREAD AND FREQUENT WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 25
AND 30 MPH ARE LIKELY. THIS WILL RESULT IN CONTINUED AREAS OF
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND LOCALLY REDUCED VISIBILITY. IN
ADDITION...WIND CHILL READINGS IN MANY AREAS WILL FALL INTO THE
TEENS AND 20S BELOW ZERO ONCE AGAIN LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO
WEDNESDAY MORNING.
