THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

CONDITIONS WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR RIP CURRENTS AROUND THE PARK
POINT BEACH TODAY. THERE IS A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS. CHECK THE
LATEST BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR DETAILS.

WEAK THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO LIFT NORTHWARD THROUGH
NORTHEAST MINNESOTA THIS MORNING. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE
LIGHTNING AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL.

PATCHY FOG WILL CONTINUE AS WELL AROUND WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR THIS
MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON. FOG COULD RE-DEVELOP TONIGHT.

ANOTHER ROUND OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED LATER THIS AFTERNOON
AND INTO THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL
FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...WITH LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND A
TORNADO OR TWO. THE CONVECTION IS EXPECTED TO INITIATE OVER NORTH
CENTRAL MINNESOTA ALONG A COLD FRONT AND MOVE TO THE EAST THROUGH
THE EVENING. BE SURE TO MONITOR THE WEATHER CONDITIONS THROUGH THE
DAY...ESPECIALLY IF OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ARE PLANNED.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHWEST WISCONSIN MONDAY
NIGHT...SPREADING INTO NORTHEAST MINNESOTA BY TUESDAY NIGHT AND
LINGER THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THE CHANCE OF STORMS RETURNS ON THURSDAY
TO NORTHWEST WISCONSIN AND LINGERS INTO SATURDAY.

GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS AROUND THE HEAD OF WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR
WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFTS TODAY AND THIS
EVENING. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT. CHECK THE LATEST
NEAR SHORE FORECAST FOR DETAILS.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ALONG THE NORTH SHORE LATE
THIS AFTERNOON...AND SPREAD OVER THE REST OF THE NEARSHORE WATERS
TONIGHT. SOME OF THE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE WITH LARGE
HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN.
