THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG OVER NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST
WISCONSIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS MORNING...BUT THERE WILL
LIKELY BE SOME IMPROVEMENT IN THE VISIBILITY BY THIS AFTERNOON. A
DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT THROUGH NOON. FOG WILL LIKELY
CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON AND INTO TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A COLD FRONT WILL THROUGH THE NORTHLAND FROM WEST TO EAST MONDAY
AND MONDAY NIGHT. THIS FRONT WILL BRING FALLING
TEMPERATURES...BACK TO BELOW FREEZING. THERE WILL BE A TRANSITION
FROM RAIN TO SNOW. A WINTRY MIXTURE IS POSSIBLE DURING THAT SHORT
TRANSITION MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT...INCLUDING THE THREAT OF LIGHT
ICE ACCUMULATIONS FROM FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET.

MUCH OF NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND ALL OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN CAN
EXPECT AT LEAST LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATION MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY
IN THE WAKE OF THE PASSING COLD FRONT. WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL AMOUNTS
OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE LIKELY. THE ARROWHEAD AND AREAS CLOSER TO
LAKE SUPERIOR IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN COULD SEE HIGHER AMOUNTS OF 3
TO 6 INCHES.

THE SNOWBELT REGION IN IRON AND ASHLAND COUNTIES COULD SEE UP TO
AN ADDITIONAL COUPLE INCHES OF SNOW WEDNESDAY DUE TO LINGERING
LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS.
