THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THIS AFTERNOON STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP ACROSS
NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN IN ADVANCE OF AN
APPROACHING COLD FRONT FROM THE WEST. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 15 TO 20
MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 TO 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED.

LATE THIS AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY DEVELOP OVER NORTH
CENTRAL TO NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD
FRONT. SOME STORMS COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE...WITH THE INITIAL
STORMS IN NORTH CENTRAL TO NORTHEAST MINNESOTA CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...TORNADOES...AND HEAVY RAIN
WHICH COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. AS STORMS MOVE EAST INTO THE
MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD...TWIN PORTS...INTERSTATE 35 CORRIDOR AND
ACROSS NORTHWEST WISCONSIN ON SATURDAY EVENING THE THREATS WILL
TRANSITION TO MAINLY DAMAGING WINDS AND HEAVY RAIN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

THERE ARE SMALL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER NORTHEAST MINNESOTA
AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN THURSDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED OVER WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. SOME STORMS COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE WITH
WIND GUSTS OVER 35 KNOTS.

STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP OVER WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. THE WINDS AND RESULTING WAVES COULD
BE HAZARDOUS FOR SMALL CRAFT ALONG THE FAR NORTH SHORE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL AFFECT WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR ON
SUNDAY...SHIFTING TO THE WEST SUNDAY NIGHT AND ON TO THE NORTHWEST
MONDAY. THESE WINDS AND RESULTING WAVES COULD BE HAZARDOUS FOR
SMALL CRAFT THROUGH MONDAY FOR ALL OR PORTIONS OF WESTERN LAKE
SUPERIOR.
